Support for Mohammed and children in Gaza

21 September 2018

Mohammed has now completed CATT training in Bristol and is spending the rest of his stay with us meeting a variety of people with knowledge of child trauma, raising awareness of the needs of children in Gaza, and improving his spoken English. Sad to say his colleague Haitham has not been able to join him. We are planning ongoing support for the work he does in Gaza.

Mohammed was a Project Manager for USAID, until last year when funding was withdrawn. He has ten years’ experience of working with children in Gaza on behalf of international aid agencies and the UN. Feel free to contact us if you want to know more about him!

ACT International

ACT International is the working name for Luna Children's Charity (Reg. Charity No. 1172010). The organisation was formed in December 2008 and became a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) in April 2017

ACT International trains in a number of countries where children’s rights are violated or have laws which compromise our values. We always do our best to uphold and teach internationally accepted standards of human rights, but may in some circumstances be obliged to adapt our programmes so that neither our trainers, trainees nor the children they serve are put at risk.
